Following several successful station cleaning and maintenance blitzes in Spring/Summer 2021, SEPTA is continuing the initiative beginning May through September 2022 on the Broad Street & Market-Frankford Lines.

Work will start this weekend [May 6-8] at North Philadelphia Station on the Broad Street Line (BSL), then move to:

Somerset Station (MFL) on May13, 14 & 15

13th Street Station (MFL) on June 3, 4 & 5

34th Street Station (MFL) on June 17, 18 & 19

Ellsworth-Federal Station (BSL) on June 24, 25 & 26

Huntingdon Station (MFL) on July 29, 30 & 31

Wyoming Station (BSL) on August 5, 6 & 7

5th Street Station (MFL) on August 12, 13 & 14

Tasker-Morris Station (BSL) on August 19, 20 & 21

63rd Street Station (MFL) on August 26, 27 & 28

Logan Station (BSL) on September 2, 3 & 4

Tioga Station (MFL) on September 9, 10 & 11

Lombard-South Station (BSL) on September 16, 17 & 18

For each blitz, stations will close at 8pm on Friday through Sunday and reopen at 5am the following day. The elevators will be out of service.

Efforts will focus on maintenance, including work on elevators, as well as painting, power washing, and installing enhanced lighting and new signage.

This initiative grew out of more expansive infrastructure, maintenance and cleaning efforts that started last year on the Market-Frankford Line at the Somerset and Allegheny Stations.

During the closures, customers can find alternate service at neighboring stations on the Broad Street and Market-Frankford Lines or on nearby bus routes.
